Challenges and Struggles
The Taiwan Society of Emergency Medicine has been dedicated to promoting digitalization in healthcare to enhance operational efficiency. However, cybersecurity concerns and personal data protection have slowed the progress of digital transformation. Thus, TSEM continuously leverages technology to address these challenges.
-
The credibility of medical informationWhether it is the qualifications of medical professionals or patient diagnosis reports, the credibility of these data will directly affect medical decisions. Accurate information can increase effective treatment. Otherwise, it may lead to incorrect diagnosis or inappropriate treatment, endangering patients’ health.
-
Efficiency of Medical OperationsAn inefficient workflow often forces medical staff to spend days or weeks integrating patient data from multiple sources. This not only lowers patient satisfaction but also undermines trust in healthcare services, causing a negative impact on treatment effectiveness.
Advantages of Turing Certs
-
Enhanced Trustworthiness of Medical Data and CertificationsBlockchain technology ensures the authenticity and non-tamperability of medical data and medical personnel qualification certificates, significantly improves the reliability of data and certificates, and ensures the safety of the medical process.
-
Smart Healthcare: Reducing Operational Costs and Human ResourcesBy automating data processing and streamlining medical workflows, smart healthcare reduces the need for manual labor and paper-based processes, effectively cutting costs and boosting the operational efficiency of medical institutions.
